Bought this machine at a local Goodwill for just $8 and all it needed was some significant shift adjustment which was fairly easy to do although it took some time and patience.
Works like a charm now. This is headed to a friend of mine who is a very talented writer and hopefully will be an encouragement for him to produce more writing. I think it is one of the best first typewriters anyone can ask for, far better than my Roytype.
