Description:
O no, its the 80s.
I believe that's the serial number anyways, it's right underneath the date code, although it could be some other manufacturing number, I'm not entirely sure. This thing is massive and cheap, it's as creaky as any other mass-produced plastic electronic from the '90s, even though it's from the '80s. Sadly this example dose not work, the carriage just keeps on going to the right on startup and doesn't stop till you power it off.

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Smith Corona Memory Correct II on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Smith Corona Serial Number page and the Smith Corona Memory Correct II By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
