My first electric typewriter since I began collecting. I wish I could say it's a great one, but despite a pleasantly snappy dawn-of-the-computer-age feel to the keys, the return mechanism frequently causes it to seize up, requiring the user to give it a good slap. This typewriter may have been manufactured anywhere between 1979 and 1982. Note that the apostrophe/quotation marks key is on the home row, just where it's found on modern computer keyboards.

Made in Japan for Royal Business Machines, Inc., a division of Triumph-Adler North America. My first electric typewriter since I began collecting.
