Description:
A German auction sighting. Facit 9410
A full size office machine typing at a max speed of 16 cps. Introduced in March 1986 and also sold under the then parent company name as the Ericsson 9410.
(The Facit 9411 of November 1988 had a max speed of 22cps- This according to my 1986-87 and 1989 editions of the German office equipment catalogs Info-Markt Ratgeber - a source that is not always reliable - a label with serial number on this machine has the year 1984, but that could be related to
some kind of functional standard/testing compliance?).

Perth, Western Australia. The best place in the world to be during a pandemic, but not the ideal location for a typewriter collector. My collecting interests shifted from mechanical typewriters to electronic. There's something about the daisy wheel I like and there are more design variations than you might think. I still have a few mechanical and electric typewriters. Running out of physical space ... ;)
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Facit (Nakajima) 9410 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Facit (Nakajima) Serial Number page and the Facit (Nakajima) 9410 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
