Description:
I haven't managed to locate the serial number yet, but the whole thing seems in relatively good shape all things considered. Got separated from its cord at some point, so I'll need to buy/make a replacement. The IBM golf ball is in great shape. Excited to finally get a typewriter that uses one!
Note, this is NOT the Sperry Remington SR-101. This is very much one of the Remington Rand Model 101s, and it's hard to find information on it thanks to the SR-101 version and that this was the last Remington Rand typewriter to be made before they folded. The two different models are not the same.

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Remington Rand 101 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Remington Rand Serial Number page and the Remington Rand 101 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
