Description:

From the estate of H Mel, UC Berkeley Biophysicist. Manufactured after October, 1976

Replacement bushing. The original ones had turned to a sticky goo. These bushings sit between the metal frame and the upper and lower halves of the ABS case. They help isolate the case from vibration. In good repair the typewriter should be quieter than when these are in poor shape. 3D model from user Darkwave3D on Thingiverse. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3563925 The model was at 1000x scale when I loaded it so I rescaled it to the dimensions from the description before printing. Printed in Overture TPU with no supports. Slid on first time for a perfect fit.
