The first typewriter I procured in the 21st Century! I didn't know anything about Olivetti at the time, but liked the way that it looked, and the fact it worked really well. Originally had the case, but it had mold in it, and in trying to clean the mold the case was destroyed. :( The typewriter works great, and is my "starting point" to judge how all others type. It types well from my perspective, and possibly I lucked out in discovering this segment-shifting typewriter first.
Based on the serial number and what I see in the TWDB now, I would guess that this one was made in 1973 or 1974.
