Description:
An Olivetti Lettera 32 I got a while ago but I wasn't using it as the basket shift wasn't my preference (prefer carriage shift even if heavier) and already had an ultraportable to carry around.
Gifted to a friend who is learning to use typewriters; is really enjoying it and has a permanent, free spot for it at home (not my case - stored inside, used outside)!

Hi!
Spaniard, typewriter user who entered the hobby around 2024 after being intrigued by this kind of machines since he was a kid, who greatly enjoys both using them and admiring their designs and mechanics.
Unfortunately, in recent times he can't afford to have more than two or three due to space and moving concerns, sticking to portable ones - especially portable enough to bring literally anywhere. Not collecting or seeking pristine or rare ones, but happy with striking keys gotten on thrift finds.
Currently owning an Amaya IM-93, a Silver Reed SR-100, Olympia Splendid 33 (pending), and Hispano-Olivetti Studio 46
Past ones: Olivetti Dora, wide Hermes 3000
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Olivetti Lettera 32 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Olivetti Serial Number page and the Olivetti Lettera 32 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
