Marx Adventure Typewriter. I found this randomly at an antique shop for next to nothing. It required very little cleaning and is in complete working order other than a few sticking keys, which were easy to fix. The original ribbon still works and types well.
The design and form factor of this typewriter and its case definitely emulate the Olivetti Valentine, with a shell case and the red body.

I'm a software engineer in the Chicagoland area. I've been collecting "vintage" vinyl, computers, mechanical keyboards and typewriters since I was a kid.
I enjoy problem solving and puzzles, so naturally fixing I fell in love with fixing and maintaining mid century typewriters. Today, we generally stare at screens throughout the day, but I've found it's very therapeutic to turn off my phone and fix some mechanical machines.
