Rescued from attic of parents' house when sold.
I cannot find a photo of another example with all the same components in the same locations. The notable features are as follows:
Ribbon colour switch on left.
Tab, set, clear above numbers.
Pressure adjustment on right.
Four longitudinal control rods underneath.
Scale length 148 or 146.
Manufacturer plate is Wilhelmshaven Germany.
Serial number 7-4893514 is hand-engraved and not stamped.
Serial number on the chassis visible only once carriage removed adjacent to the backspace relay lever mounting location.

Hi
I don't want to be a typewriter hunter per se but I have inherited a heavy old Olympia typewriter and I cannot identify which model it is so I am having to hunt for photos of similar but to no avail. The ribbon colour selector is on the left and the serial number doesn't correspond to anything in the list. It looks a bit like an SM9 with the OLYMPIA badge on the left and the "i" logo on the right but the listed SM9s have the colour shift on the right. The number is 7-4893514 hand engraved on the cast iron chassis adjacent to where the backspace mechanism attaches, viewable only once the carriage assy is removed. I can post some photos. None of the listed serial numbers have a 7- suffix.
