Description:
Nice example of a mid Seventies typewriter, the kind that showed up in many dormatories, a good machine for essays and stories. This one is in pretty close to factory condition after some dusting, cleaning and ribbon change. Case is immaculate.

I rediscovered typewriters about a year ago when I got back my Hermes 3000 from my daughter. I bought it to gift her on the occcasion of her first born. Then it sat for about a decade, I brought it home and have been on it ever since. I've taken up buying them, fixing and cleaning, then gifting them to friends who show an interest. I have to give them away otherwise I'd be a hoarder!
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Remington (Brother) Performer on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Remington (Brother) Serial Number page and the Remington (Brother) Performer By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
