The space bar seems to disengage the escapement when pressed while the keys don't. I figure there is a spring missing but I don't know where it could go. The keys are mostly sticky so they are frozen, the ribbon advance was also frozen. The escapement is intact once I looked at it. So it needs a cleaning to get the keys to work but the space bar is a strange problem. The 2 key works perfectly so I found out it is a PICA typeface machine.
