A sad story, the museum opened in new premises in the summer of 2016, but had to close its doors in 2018. The collection was sold on line which gave me the opportunity to aquire a fine specimen of the Praxis 48. It was made in Ivrea and has a German keyboard. The charming 12 pitch typeface is called Quadrato. It was designed by Arturo Rolfo and initially intended for use on the Olivetti Valentine.

Since 2013 we are using a typewriter again. We said that a typewriter should type precise and snappy but it should also look good. It explains the presence of 4 Olivetti typewriters in our house.
