Description:
Early 1970s Adler Tippa (bright orange). Made in Germany (UK keys with pound sign).
I've owned this typewriter since the late 1970s when it was gifted to me by my aunt who had previously used it.
This typewriter is in excellent condition and is fully functional. I have the original travel case, instruction book and the plastic insert to hold the keys from moving while traveling. Serial is under keyboard (in area of P key).
Shift key lifts carriage (not basket). Requires a firm touch.

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Adler Tippa on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Adler Serial Number page and the Adler Tippa By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
