Description:
Painted by a typewriter tech for his mother, who was a K-state fan. And he actually did a pretty good job, as both sides of each panel are painted. It has faded a bit though. Maybe a little cleaner wax will brighten it up?
An easy service. The purple brightened up nicely. The card guides and paper table went to an SG-1.
I believe the ones without a paper injector are SG3N models.

Typewriters are the perfect blend of using one's technical skills, history and functional purpose. My goal is type tested machines. My interests are not isolated to anyone area. For example, I am a big fan of Smith Corona electrics, mid century electrics and all things Royal.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Olympia SG3 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Olympia Serial Number page and the Olympia SG3 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
