Description:
A very basic, but solidly built portable. No tab function, or support for bichrome ribbon. Advertised for about$79 in 1961. These were available in a variety of pastel colors, so of course mine would be in the boringest color: grey. Not sure about the build date, the SN falls outside of the number range listed on this site. Going by available advertising though, I'd guess this is a 1960 or '61 model.
Action is light and snappy, but the key travel feels long. Takes the annoying Remington ribbon "spools" that come apart. Fairly heavy for a portable, comes in a sturdy travel case with 2-tone vinyl covering.
