I grew up with a Selectric next to the computer. Sometimes I would just turn it on to hear the motor hum. Fast forward a few decades and I rediscovered my love of typewriters. My brother-in-law heard me talk about all the typewriters I saw but couldnāt afford and found a free electronic Brother in a family memberās attic. Didnāt have the heart to tell him how ugly it was, and I did love it just the same. Then I figured out eBay and online auctions and it was all down hill from there. Iāve even bought machines while on vacation and had them shipped home! All the kids are grown up except the youngest so soon we will be downsizing the house and I figured it was time to start taking inventory and selling machines that are collecting dust.
