1967 Olympia SF Serial # 5-1371788 1967 Olympia SF typewriter, Serial # 5-1371788 Dai Noble's 1967 Olympia SF typewriter. 2026-07-08 From the Virtual Typewriter Collection of Dai Noble: 1967 Olympia SF Serial # 5-1371788 The Olympia SF is the jewel in the crown of my collection, it is the only typewriter I have paid big bucks for but it is the only time I have come across a script typeface for anything less than £400. My rule is generally not to spend more than £50 on a typewriter and the majority of my machines have been £20 or less, however I paid £175 for this one in a flea market in Brighton, Sussex UK and I love it more than I should love an inanimate object. The typeface is beautiful as you can see and I don't believe I will ever regret purchasing it. The typing action is smooth and reliable and this is my machine of choice when I want to go and write in the park, It sparks many a conversation when sat out in the open, in train stations and outside cafe's. Typing en plein air has become one of my new favourite pastimes and this is the machine that I take.
