The typewriter is clean and heavy, with very little original wear. Most scuffs are from the way the machine must be wedged into the case, which is frightening but efficient. It was shipped to me in a lightweight cardboard carton with a wisp of plastic wrap, but arrived unscathed with the three sturdy case locks firmly latched. The ads seem to suggest this amazing case was only available from 1963 through 1966.
