Description:
This machine works mostly but the escapement doesn't have the pinion pawl. So the pinion gear just kinda does what it wants. With going and taking the carriage off I have found out it is an eleven CPI machine. This will probably make it fairly hard to find a doner. It looks like the pinion pawl was just torn off at some point. I wonder if the pinion pawl spring could prevent the pinion from moving back but it might just damage the spring. The only hope I would have for the escapement is to drill out when the pawl connects and make a new one for it. It is most likely the Windsor typeface based on 11 CPI and the looks on some of the characters, notably the w.

I just collect typewriters and adding machines. I like to work on them and get them up and running again.
