Found this banged-up Galaxie online and spotted the single color on the selector. The price didn't reflect that it was a script machine, but I took a chance on it. It came a few days later with no packing materials and it was upside down in the case. A margin button and the left side carriage cover was broken and it needed a lot of cleaning, but the reward was that my hunch was true - it was a script machine!
It isn't pretty, but it cleaned up well and it works just fine.
