This is another smashed one with great type feel. Paper injector at right. This has many flaws, but the type feel is so good it brings me back. No carriage return handle, broken ratchet, Upper/Lower out of sync, ribbon advance only works one side. Doesn't matter when the type feel is as good as this. (JP-3 body, Elite font)

Born and raised less than a quarter mile from The Noiseless factory in Middletown, CT. I've fought with the why. Why do I like typewriters when I always was interested in 'tech'. I guess for their day, they were high tech. I've acquiesced that for me the "Rube Goldberg" nature of complex mechanics is the main draw.
