Paint was pealing off in layers, the original clear coat shedding like snake skin. Mechanically it was frozen up with layers of crystallized, solidified lubricant. Heavy as a tank, I painted it like one. The back panels are the original finish cleaned with mild soap and water. The carriage retains the uncleaned original finish. Elite Pitch.
