This one was a challenge. It needed functional as well as cosmetic restoration. For one thing, there were *living* bugs in it. Gray things the size of my fingernail. Luckily, they were in a state of torpor - probably from their cross-country journey to CA. But the machine, now fumigated and de-rusted, works wonderfully and, somehow, smacks of the Iron Curtain, but in a good way. As just a curiosity, this is the first machine I've acquired with craquelure, and as a *bonus*, I left the dealer badge on the front, because it's actually as cool, if not cooler, that the jaunty, early 60s, logo badge. How often does *that* happen?
