Here an early Monica specimen from early '60. Bodywork looks the same as SM series. Later, the Olympia Monica typewriter will be produced with different bodies until the last plastic ones in the 70s/80s.

I have been an Italian typewriter collector for many many years. At that time, I loved very old typewriters from late 1800s to early 1900s. After a break of a few years I returned to collect typewriters but no longer so old, I prefer now the design of the 40's, 50's and 60's. Yes, I am an affectionate collector of Olivetti, of course, but I'm attracted to all the other brands from that period, not just Italian.
