Description:
Typewriter #7153 was institutionalized. Despite the wear and tear, including a beat up platen and cracked spacebar, it all works and produces a nice impression. It was cleaned before it was put away. I am going with prison vs school.
The budget model:
No tabs.
Sterling keyboard,.
No paper guide.
No paper ears.
No line release lever.
Rear cover is fixed, so platen removal is not as easy.
Insulation only in the top cover.
Smaller return lever.
