Description:
KamKap Typewriter. This is a toy typewriter from 1956. It was marketed as a "real typewriter" for kids and in most aspects, it is. It's a nice "handsome" metal typewriter that features a curved body.
Currently, I haven't written anything on it yet. I have some extra metal spools that are meant for ultra portable typewriters that fit on this machine. The carriage needs some work. Other than that, it should be able to print. I will update this post with a smaller soon.

I'm a software engineer in the Chicagoland area. I've been collecting "vintage" vinyl, computers, mechanical keyboards and typewriters since I was a kid. Born into an analog world, but grew up in a digital one.
My wife is a writer and I enjoy problem solving and puzzles, so naturally fixing I fell in love with fixing and maintaining typewriters and she then gets to enjoy all of these machines!
