Description:
Local sale. Overall good condition, all functions working, except tab clear key.
Elite typeface, casting "DE" on slugs. Good alighnment.
Carriage moves well, good margin setting, good escapement.
Good carry case, some dings and scuffs, latch works well, no key.
Ribbon old but working. Advances properly.
Platen and rollers smooth but hard, paper feeds well.
Platen width measured at 9 and 5/8 inches.
Ribbon cover works perfectly, like new.
Standard US keyboard, grey keys, oddly a few of the keys are different in that the resin appears partly degraded.
Came with original user manual. Also, original promo paper sheet with 1950 copyright date on bottom.
A few minor paint blemishes, a few small spots of rust visible but nothing serious.
Condition of 4 base feet is also notably good.
Just blow out some dust and procede with typing.
