Description:
#785
A most wonderful surprise while attending another typewriter gathering at "Herman's" in West Virginia... Thanks Dave!
Even though this model is considered a standard, it is smaller in size than a standard desktop typewriter, but... much heavier...
It has a nice feature... the side panels pop off from buttons on the bottom to reveal, levers to release the carriage.
This machine is also in remarkable condition for a 74 year old...

"I was born in a crossfire hurricane"...
A professor in college gave me the gift and appreciation of the letter form.
Typewriters are just little "print shops" for me.
I have an MFA in 3D Digital Sculpture.
I no longer mold young minds, by teaching art to high school students, everyday is a safari now...
In my spare time I own and operate an equal opportunity rescue shelter for all makes and models of typewriters that have been abandoned in the bottoms of closets.
No matter how many typewriters I am fortunate to be able to collect, my collection will not be as nice as Herman's...
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Siemag II T on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Siemag Serial Number page and the Siemag II T By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
