The last Woodstock. The Signature was released in May 1949. The name was for an enclosed plate that could be engraved with the owner's signature. This could then be used to replace the front "Signature" front panel plate.
R. C. Allen announced the purchase of Woodstock in early November 1949 and that all products would be replaced by their own by Feb. 1, 1950.
The main page numbers don't quite add up to the print sources. This is SN 106, so 1949 SNs had moved past 999,999 before 1950. This one is also after the note: "Final Woodstock Serial # was 1056000." What we need is a bunch of late 5N machines to get an idea on when the break point might have been.
Maybe the 1056000 number was at the date of sale of RCA in November, making this a Dec 49 or Jan 50 machine.
