Description:
I rilly like the color scheme, everything moves well.
I love how it types but I was having some issues with the shift mechanism earlier, its working for the time being.
EDIT: there are to bars in the machine on eather side of it that link up to the shift mechanism, the right side of mine is missing a nut and so occasionally it slips off and falls underneath the shift mechanism keeping it up... I didn't have a replacement nut soooooooooo... electrical tape.

I have been collecting and restoring typewriter's for about 2 and a half years now, I collect and restore other antiques aswell but I mainly focus on typewriters.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Underwood Leader on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Underwood Serial Number page and the Underwood Leader By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
