Description:
It has "Model 5" in front of the spacebar and a Monarch paper table. Remington's use of the Monarch name is suppose to be wrapped up by the time the Deluxe Model 5 is manufactured, yet here one is. The B SN slots it right in with the Deluxe Model 5s. This case queen came with one good ribbon cover and a lone wolf from the parts bins completed the package. Note the painted section in front of the spacebar on early DM5s.

Typewriters are the perfect blend of using one's technical skills, history and functional purpose. My goal is type tested machines. My interests are not isolated to anyone area. For example, I am a big fan of Smith Corona electrics, mid century electrics and all things Royal.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Monarch (Remington) Deluxe Model 5 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Monarch (Remington) Serial Number page and the Monarch (Remington) Deluxe Model 5 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
