I instantly fell in love with the look of it. It is really pleasing to the eye and honestly looks brand new. It is a pleasure to use and I use it quite a bit to write letters to family. It has the glass keys with metal rims. An interesting note though, the key to the right of the colon and semi colon has an exclamation point and a degrees symbol. Its white, and the only white key on the machine. I don't know for sure but it may have been changed out later in its life instead of being on there from the factory. I have not seen another one with this exact setup.

Hello everyone. I am not much of a writer per se however I love old machines of all kinds. When I was a kid in the early 2000s my elderly neighbor would let me write letters to my dad on an old mechanical typewriter which I thought at the time was super cool. Fast forward to 2026 and I was at a museum with my 7 year old son which had all sorts of old technology and was hands on. Im pretty sure you could touch 80% of what was in there. They had a library set up with a few old typewriters and paper. They wanted people, especially young children to use the machines. That brought back memories and next thing I knew I was the proud owner of two vintage typewriters. I did a deep dive into research and found this site. Im excited to become a member and share my machines with everyone.
