Description:
A wonderful ca. 1932 Olivetti MP1 ICO with a rare Belgian keyboard. According to some sources, this keyboard layout was invented by Alfred Valley. It was designed to help him win speed typing contests, because the middle two rows contain the letters for the most common Belgian/French words. I won't be winning any speed contests with it.
Purchased May 2026 from the collection of Richard Polt.
