Das ist meine Merz Universal aus dem Jahre 1932. Ich habe sie von einem Antikhändler im Erzgebirge gekauft. Ein recht guter Zustand, soweit ich mich erinnern kann. Ich habe die Maschinen gereinigt und das Verband gewechselt. Weitere Reparaturen wurden hier nicht benötigt. Die Walze ist leider etwas hart, aber auch das ist auszuhalten. Beim Schreiben einfach zwei Blätter einspannen und man hat wieder ein gutes Schreib Gefühl. Alles funktioniert jede Taste schreibt. Ich habe eine Ausführung mit einer Standardschriftart. Ich weiß aber durch einen weiteren Eintrag in der Tat. Data ist, dass es diese Maschine auch mit Fraktur gab.

Hello, my name is Tim Rippl and I am from Germany. I have been collecting typewriters for about a year and a half and currently have eight machines in my collection. My collection mainly focuses on German manufacturers, but I also have a American typewriter.

What fascinates me most about typewriters is their technology, history, and the many different ways in which they were designed and constructed. In my opinion, old typewriters are a great example of how creative and resourceful people could be when working with relatively simple technical means. Every machine has its own history and character, and that is what makes collecting them so interesting to me.

I look forward to continuing to expand my collection and learning more about the history and technology behind these fascinating machines.
