Description:
The machine is elite font and it seems when it backspaces it moved two characters back. I don't know if that is how an elite machine of the model 10 is meant to work but other than that and the foot that is propped up by an eraser it is in good condition. The right platen knob has also been replaced by a Royal HH that I'm using for a parts machine. The Royal HH is an old one with escapement issues and not the HHE that I submitted to the database. The feet have been replaced and the carriage adjusted to make sure it skips less at the extreme left and right positions.

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Royal 10 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Royal Serial Number page and the Royal 10 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
