Description:
This is my fourth Stoewer Record. Unlike my other Stoewer Record machines, this one has a tabulator. The tab key The typewriter is equipped with a pneumatic tabulator brake. The movement of the suspension spring housing sets two small pistons in cylinders in motion. The air is compressed in the cylinders, thereby creating a braking effect that... counteracts the rolling motion of the wagon.
