Description:
This typewriter is a beautiful machine, though it’s not the most reliable for typing. I came across it in an antique store; I was there to get another typewriter, and spotted this one - I ended up walking out with two that day. It is fully functional; though I just recently acquired this machine, and it’s still waiting for a restoration and a ribbon. I’ll update here once it’s finished.

I am a young typewriter collector, based in Canada; I caught the bug when I came across a 1926 Underwood Standard No. 3 in an antique store, and was never able to get the darn thing out of my head. Since then, my collection has been rapidly growing. I especially like older machines, and I prefer restoring rough machines over hunting for perfect examples.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Corona 4 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Corona Serial Number page and the Corona 4 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
