1920 Nora Felio Serial # XXX 1920 Nora Felio typewriter, Serial # XXX F N's 1920 Nora Felio typewriter. 2026-09-20 From the Virtual Typewriter Collection of F N: 1920 Nora Felio Serial # XXX It's not really a Nora, but a Felio. The machine equipment of the Nora was sold to "De eerste Nederlandsche schrijfmachinefabriek" in Amsterdam, who produced the Felio between 1919 and 1921. It was as expensive as a Remington Standard, but without the decades of experience and goodwill of a big company. It failed. Just a few specimens are known. This one misses most part of the carriage, and is in very bad condition overall, but I am still happy I got the chance to buy it. It is a rather complex machine, with loads of parts and linkages, partly attached to the outer plating. Unique feature (last picture): key blocking mechanism.
Surviving Felio's don't have serial numbers.
