I acquired this last year through Goodwill online. It's fairly functional despite its being over a century old already. Still there are some issues and I had a hard time replacing this with a new ribbon.

I'm an archaeologist who writes heritage books and collects Japanese ceramics as well as quite a number of typewriters that I've acquired through purchase or as gifts over the last 10 years in the Philippines as well as in the US and Japan.
I'm currently a visiting professor at a university in Japan and it is heaven here to see so many typewriters being auctioned online!
